I am going to carry out a series of surveys in Peru for which I plan to tow two soundtraps inserted in the same towfish. They will be separated by aproximatelyapproximately 50 cm so I want to use them to extract bearing parameters and hopefully distance. For this I also plan to use Pamguard However.

However I am not sure how can I synchronize them to work as one. Could this be done in Pamguard or with some other tool? Last

Last year I used an array ST4300 so I had different channels in the same recording, but this year I couldn't take this array so I am using two independent soundtraps but would like to know if I can combine the recordings of the two soundtraps in one. Also

Also, I would like to know if the distance to the animal can be estimated in pamguardPamguard from the bearing and change in location and how to do this.

How to synchronize two independent soundtraps working as part of the same hydrophone array?
