You can also do a MSP reset of the board, because sometimes IoTimedOut is a compatibility software issue. You should do this while the SD cards are out of the ST.
Over the SD slot #3, you can see a small pin hole. A paperclip can fit in there. Go to your Service tab, and select 'Update MSP,' and you will see this pop-up:
Press the paperclip into the reset pin hole. There will be a small feeling when you push down the reset button within the hole. Keep the button pushed, and then press OK on ST Host. Follow the instructions ST Host then provides (as in, when to release the button).
This does not always work, but I have found that sometimes SD cards that were working FINE before a deployment, have issues offloading sound files or being reformatted for the next deployment. Sometimes this helps. Other times, I have to use ST Card Host to retrieve the sound files, and then retire the card.
